Happy Wednesday! I hope youโve had a wonderful start to your week. My week days have slowly blurred into my weekends (as Iโm sure yours have too!) and Iโm knee deep into some exciting projects. If youโve been on my IG stories lately, youโll have caught my latest updates on my pool renovation, whatโs growing in my garden, and of course some fun fashion reels. Iโm absolutely loving being back in our family home and exploring new ways to maintain our traditions, yet still continue the renovations – plus, I am learning SO MUCH during the process!
As with all of my travels, these past few months back on St. Croix have had a significant influence on my style and Iโve found that I have once again fallen head over heels for gingham.
I find you either love gingham or you hate it, but whichever camp youโre in, it is undeniably a versatile and classic pattern. From clothing, to curtains, to upholstery, I especially love it because itโs reminiscent of our islandโs traditional madras fabric.
Iโve already managed to amass a full rainbow of gingham looks in my closet, but today Iโm pulling out a special piece that I recently snagged on The Real Real by MDS Stripes.
Iโm always on the hunt for easy, statement dresses that help me achieve the ever so fine line between island casual and island elegance, and this sweet little pastel gingham number with an off-the-shoulder neckline does just the trick, especially when paired with a few of my favorite accessories! Quite the steal on The Real Real (p.s. I also snagged those YSL sunglasses on The Real Real as well!) Iโve linked everything below – as well as some other gorgeous lilac gingham pieces I spotted.
Stay tuned for more easy breezy island looks, as well as an upcoming pool renovation post!
xx, CC
