I’m bringing sandy tones to the beach! As it’s October, I have been inspired by the fall tone-on-tone looks I’m seeing everywhere and wanted to put my own Caribbean twist on it! We don’t have any falling leaves here in the islands, but sandy hues work perfectly right here on the beach!
A monochrome look doesn’t have to be boring, and by playing with shapes, patterns, and textures you can create a gorgeous look in that coveted all neutral fall palette. Today, I’m wearing this stunning snakeskin high-waist swimsuit by Mara Hoffman as my base (in lieu of all the Paris Texas boots I’m dying to wear!), putting on my favorite pair of beige linen pants (instead of the camel colored teddy bear coats), and layering on a variety of textures with palm, rattan, and wooden accessories (which I would wear in any season!).
Pro tip: neutral accessories are timeless, can be worn again and again, and pair well with every any color!
I’ve recently fallen in love with and began investing in rattan bags, extra wide brim straw boater hats, and shell inspired jewelry. As a girl who spends majority of her time in tropical environments, these pieces speak to me all year round. And while I do have some sweater weather envy right now, I wouldn’t trade my island life for anything!
To all my readers around the world, I am wishing you good health, safety, and style – wherever you may be!
xx, CC
