Sundays are for lounging in easy breezy maxi dresses. Free-flowing fabrics in shades of white are perfect for spring/summer. Tan leather details and a textured boat hat round out the look, keeping it simple and island chic.
Sundays for me are about spending early mornings in bed with a cup of coffee, having a delicious brunch with the family, and then spending the afternoon at the beach. I love tossing on a dress that can transition from brunch to beach. Simple spaghetti straps, minimal details, and a relaxed silhouette all work together harmoniously to create the perfect Sunday look.
There is something incredibly effortless about a simple white flowing dress. Just like the LBD, I believe everyone needs one in their closet.
I picked up this heavenly white maxi while traveling through Buenos Aires, Argentina. I would’ve purchased everything in the store: El Camarin, but alas, my suitcase had limited space!
A white palette is always clean and fresh, especially coming into summer. A light, airy, and breathable cotton dress evokes carefree days on the beach and when paired with Jo Malone’s Wood Sage & Sea Salt Cologne, is a perfect island look. The tiered details are reminiscent of a muslin skirt, giving it that perfect beachy-elegance combo. I prefer to pair an off-white dress with natural materials. Lace-up tan leather sandals are island approved and an absolute essential for summer vacations. I’m also currently loving anything by Eugenia Kim, her hats are sassy and classy. Summer vacay here we come!! Where will your summer travels take you?
